      I use Vallejo Modelcolor.
      For the face: 70814 with 70876
      Highlighting: 70815
      Shadows: black

  7. Dear Gunther - I am new to world war 1 figures but was really impressed by the Tommys war figures you painted - what coulrs did you use for the uniform? Nick

    1. Hi Nick, I used Model Color from vallejo. The colours are 70826, 70830 and 70950. I mixed them for the base colour of the uniform. Mix these 3 colours of your choice or wishes. So you can choose between the colours like more brownish or a green tone. If you need some good colourfull pictures of the uniforms, have a look at my blog, there is a link: " THE GREAT WAR SOCIETY".
